Eyal Danon In Discussion with Reem Fadda

Join us for a dialogue between Eyal Danon (Director & Chief Curator, Israeli Center for Digital Art) and Reem Fadda (Associate Curator of Middle Eastern Art, Abu Dhabi Project, Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation) who will discuss two recent projects: Liminal Spaces, a unique example of a joint Palestinian-Israeli artistic collaboration involving the Israeli Center for Digital Art, and The Jessy Cohen Project, a community-based initiative in the immigrant neighborhood of Jessy Cohen, Holon. In this rare presentation, Danon and Fadda will examine the connections between these projects as part of Israeli Center for Digital Art’s sociopolitical curatorial program, and discuss their attempts to respond responsibly and constructively to the campaign for a cultural and academic boycott against Israel. With an introduction by Manon Slome, Chief Curator of No Longer Empty.

This event is being presented in conjunction with Artis.
